A view looking east of a latrine that is located on the north side of the Artemis Plaza.
It dates to the 4-6 centuries A.D. On the left (north) side, the benches are restored of concrete. On the right side, the stone projections (original) supported the benches the people sat on. Under them, there was a channel that washed away the waste. In front of the benches was a channel with clean water that was used to dip sponges into for cleansing purposes. At the far end is a waiting room with a pool. The latrine could accommodate about 20-25 people.
