View looking north over the meager remains of the Artemis Temple—now mainly a few preserved columns re-erected by archaeologists and at times a swampy area.
On the left, the domed structure is the Isa Bey Mosque and above it the citadel of Ayasuluk. Just to the left of the upper portion of the column, the atrium of the Basilica of Saint John is visible.
