View looking west at the square that is on the upper east side of the "Middle City" of Ephesus. The "square" is located in front of the green fig tree just left of the center of the image.
A street from the lower right leads into the square. This street is coming from the Upper City. A street from the lower-left also leads into the square. This is coming from the area of the Temple of Domitian. And finally, "Curetes Street" leads down (away from the viewer) to the Celsus Library.
The monument just right of the center of the image is the Memmius Monument.
