Stage Detail

View of the upper portion of the central portion of the stage area.  Note the central doorway and the beautiful white marble reliefs.  These reliefs depict the birth of Dionysus, the god of wine and the theater and events associated with his “life.”  Unfortunately they are protected by a chain link barrier and do not photograph well.
