This is the Aramaic version (27 lines long) of the trilingual inscription that was discovered in the Sacred Complex at Letoön in 1973.
It probably dates to about 338 B.C.—a time when the Persians dominated Lycia. It is a public record of a decree establishing a new cult and altar honoring the mythical King Kaunos and Arkesimas.
The three versions are close, but are not word-for-word copies of each other. It is now on display in the Archaeological Museum in Fethiye.
