View looking west at the Mecidiye Mosque that is located on the European shore of the Bosphorus just below the Bosphorus Bridge at Ortakoy.
This mosque was built for Sultan Abdul Mecit and was completed in 1855. Three of its four turrets are visible as are its two minarets. The major style of the building is baroque!
