Note the finely crafted stones in the wall. Below the arch is where a door to a shop still lies buried. Above the arch the square openings are where beams were inserted. There were evidently at least two stories on this structure.
On the left, the hole in the wall is a "modern" opening to a buried shop—its doorway is just visible by the green weeds below it.
