A detailed image of the lower wreath on Column B of a figure of Fortuna. This votive decoration was dedicated to the goddess "Fortuna" (Latin; her name is spelled out in the Latin inscription below the wreath)—in Greek she was called "Tyche." The "crown" on her head evidently represents the walls of the city of Laodicea. Fortuna/Tyche was the deity that brought good luck (to the city).
Latin Inscription: FORTUNAESACRUM
