View looking southwest at the entrance to a very well–preserved Roman Temple (ca. second century AD). It is of the “Corinthian Type” but it did not have any colonnade surrounding it.
It stands on a platform measuring 42 x 52 ft. [13 x 16 m.]. In places, it is preserved to a height of 34 ft. [10.3 m.] and the intact doorway is 20 ft. [6.1 m.] high!!
