View looking at the north basin of the Hellenistic fountain house that tapped one of the springs at Sagalassos. The flowing spring is just above and right of the center of the image. Note the reflection of the wall on the surface of the water. The water is actually crystal clear, but because of the reflection, it appears brown.
It was originally built in the first century B.C. After several rebuilds, it was severely damaged by an earthquake in A.D. 518.
