Capital

Capital

View of one of the capitals on one of the columns in the northern entrance to the Tobiad palace.

Although badly weathered, it does give some hint of its style.  It does not seem to be Doric, Ionic, or Corinthian.  In some ways it seems to hint at being of the "Pergamene " style—which is derived from Egyptian prototypes.
