Theater Stage

View of the stage area.  Note the niches on the facing of the stage and the stairs that lead up from the orchestra to the stage.  Behind the stage are two large semi-circular niches for statues.  It is interesting that the stage area is mainly built of white limestone - rather than black basalt which is more prevalent in the Tiberias region.
