Joy

View of one of the frames of the third-century mosaic found in the triclinium of the elite house at Sepphoris.

This small frame is labeled "Joy" in Greek.  It features a maenad (female follower of Dionysus( playing a double flute on the left and a satyr with staff on the right.  In the center is a maenad sitting holding a basket (of grapes?).
