View looking at the third panel of the synagogue mosaic that contains the zodiac!

Below it portions of the "Binding of Isaac" panel are visible, and above it portions of the panel associated with the Tabernacle/Temple are visible.

Within the circle are the twelve signs of the zodiac—moving in a counterclockwise direction.  In the central circle is the sun, Helios, riding on a chariot drawn by four horses (= a quadringa).  Outside the outer circle, in the corners, the four seasons of the year are represented by women and other symbols.
