Soreq Valley

View looking east at the Soreq Valley system west of Jerusalem.  Note the deep "V-shaped" valleys that make travel IN the valley very difficult and north-south travel from peak to peak very difficult.  The Israelis planted all the trees visible in this images as part of their reforestation of the country.
