Pillar of Heroism

View looking east at the “Pillar of Heroism.”  In stainless steel and concrete by Buki Schwartz, 1968.  The pillar commemorates the chimneys of the crematoria while the grey blocks of concrete that lead up to it symbolize the destruction caused by the Nazis.
