Pilgrims' Street 1

Pilgrims

View of the first century A.D steps that lead up from the plaza by the Pool of Siloam to the street that leads up to the Temple Mount—to the area of Robinson's Arch. The Path of the Pilgrims was the route used by pilgrims to ascend from the Pool of Siloam to worship at the Temple Mount.  This "street" was built on a grand scale and most of it has been excavated—but not yet open to the public.  The street seems to follow the contour of the Tyropoean Valley.
