Modern Tile

View of a modern tile mural in the grotto that is located under the southern aisle of St. Anne’s Church.  According to tradition this is where the Virgin Mary was born to Anne.

On the right the washing of Mary is represented while Joachim (lower left) looks on.  In the upper left Mary (in red) and animals look into the crib which contains the baby Jesus.
