Antoninian Warehouse 1

A view of a large section of the so-called "Septimius Severus warehouse."  In fact, this storage area was constructed earlier, possibly during the reign of Marcus Aurelius (r. A.D. 160–180) of the "Antonioni Dynasty."

The warehouse was situated on the western edge of the hexagonal Harbor of Trajan.  Portions of the walls of the second floor are still preserved.
