Square Column

View of one of the square columns of the "Theater Agora," often referred to as the "Tetrastoön" due to the square being enclosed by a colonnade on all four sides.

On the column please note the intricate design with acanthus leaves and wild animals.

This Agora was constructed in the fourth century AD when the South Agora was flooded and no longer usable.
