Nymphaeum Closeup

Nymphaeum Closeup

View from the south, looking at the large Roman Nymphaeum that is located near Andriace.

On the left, note the large room with two well-preserved arches.  The water rises within the room and surrounds the structure.  the large squatty arch on the right covers one of the water sources.

This water source supplied water to Myra 1.0 miles to the northeast and to its port, Andriace—0.6 miles west-southwest of the Nymphaeum.
