Altar 1

View southeast toward  the altar that is in front of the Artemis Temple.  Note the rebuilt steps that lead up to the large surface area of the altar.  The Artemis Temple is behind the altar on the left (east) side of the image.  Note the standing columns located on the east side of the temple.
