View of an architectural fragment located on the acropolis of ancient Philadelphia.

Very little excavation has taken place, although the meager remains of the entrance to a theater are visible as one climbs up to the top of the acropolis.  No excavations have taken place in Alashehir (save in the Byzantine Church), but remnants of the ancient wall are visible in the city.
