North-South Stoa

View looking north along the eastern portico of the North-South Stoa (covered walkway with shops on the right side) that is located on the east side of the archaeology park of Thyatira (Modern: Akhisar).  The wooden walkway covers the area of the Stoa.  An ancient marketplace, Agora or Forum, was probably located to the left, west, behind these reconstructed columns.  The reconstructed columns support ancient arches that were found scattered in the area.
