Theater and Odeon

View of the large theater of ancient Lugdunum (modern Lyon).  In the upper left quadrant of the picture, the smaller Odeon is also visible.  In the area where the brown wood is visible, below it is a long deep space where a curtain was lowered and raised by weights and pulleys.
