Model of Lyon

View of a model of modern Lyon (ancient Lugdunum).  From the upper right note the two rivers that flow to the left and join in the lower left quadrant of the model.  The river closest to the viewer is the larger of the two—the Rhône.  The other river that joins it is the Saône.

In the upper portion of the model, is the highest hill located between the two rivers, where the ancient city of Lugdunum developed.  Also visible on the upper left side of the model is the theater.
