Mykonos Pithos

View of a huge burial jar (pithos) that was found on Mykonos in 1961.  It dates to around 670 B.C. and is approximately 5 ft. [1.5 m.] tall!

On it are reliefs depicting the Trojan Horse(!) used at Troy the capture the city as well as battle scenes depicting the fighting.

This is the earliest graphic depiction of the Trojan Horse and the battle of Troy!!
