View looking north into the orchestra of the Large/North Theater. This theater dates to the Hellenistic Period, it is located on the northwest side of the mound of Laodicea. In the center of the picture is the orchestra. The cavea (semi-circular seating area) is visible.  From there, follow the line down to the left edge of the image. A few remnants of the skene (stage area) are visible in the center of the image.

In the upper portion of the image the Lycus Valley is visible.
