Inside the Rabbinic Tunnel, the Hasmonean Aqueduct. View looking south. Here at the north end of the Rabbinic Tunnel, the recently dug tunnel connects with an old aqueduct system that brought water from a pool (the Struthion) 265 feet [80 m] north of the Temple Mount into the cisterns on the Mount itself.
