View of a reconstructed loom in one of the rooms of an Israelite House. Note the upper portion of the blanket or carpet that is partially completed. At the bottom are the loom weights that keep tension on the hanging strands. Numerous loom weights have been found in archaeological excavations.
This reconstructed Israelite House is on display at the Haaretz Museum in north Tel Aviv.
