View looking down into the — now dry — Kassotis Spring that was located near/under the southern retaining wall of the Temple of Apollo.
Note the hewn stone sidewalls and the steps that lead down into where the water collection basin is located. The stones in the wall are "well–dressed" with smooth bosses and margins.
