A large circular cult building located on an eastern ridge of the Samothrace sanctuary. It was built around the 4th century B.C. This and the building beyond it were probably constructed by Philip III of Macedon, the half brother of Alexander the Great—possibly to commemorate the tradition that his father and mother met here.
