View looking down on 24(!) bathtubs that were discovered at the southeast end of the Roman Forum (second–third century A.D.).
There are a total of 24 bathtubs—twelve located above the stone circle and half located below it. Each tub has two levels. One would sit in the bath and hot water would be poured over the bather.
