View looking southwest down into the Odeion of Herodes Atticus. The well-preserved stage area and rear stage wall (scaenae frons) are well preserved — the later to three stories in places.
The semi-circular orchestra area is visible as is the cavea. There is a diazoma (belt) that divides the cavea into two parts. The lower part has five wedged-shape seating areas (cunei) while above the diazoma there are ten.
The seating and orchestra have been restored and the Odeion is used for concerts today.
