View looking west at the so-called Temple of Octavia. In the lower portion of the image are the foundations of this temple—called Temple E. According to the second century traveler Pausanias this temple contained a statue of Octavia the sister of the Emperor Augustus (27B.C.-A.D.14). It is located at the west end of the Roman Forum.
