View looking southwest along the road that led from the site of Corinth to the port of Lechaion on the Gulf of Corinth. In the background is the Acrocorinth. To the right of the road (west) are the remains of shops. Some have speculated that there may have been a synagogue in this area for Jewish artifacts were found in the vicinity.
