View looking down from the eastern side of the Lower Terrace of the Northern Palace at a small private bathhouse—the lower right portion of the image. In the far upper portion of the image is the blue water of the Salt Sea. Also visible is Masada's Visitors Center and the lower Cable Car Station. Two Roman Camps, one rebuilt, and the wall of circumvallation are visible.
This Roman Bath included tepid, cold, and hot rooms. The skeletal remains of three individuals, identified as rebels were found in the bath, along with fragments of clothing, sandals, arrows, and pieces of mail armor. Even plated of a woman's braided hair were preserved.
