View of one of the jars in which some of the scrolls were discovered. This style of jar dates to the first century A.D. Note the lid on the top of the jar. The jar is approximately 2 ft. [0.6 m.] high.
This artifact is housed in the small but important museum on the Citadel in the middle of Amman, Jordan.
