This is a view of a model of Netzer's reconstruction of the tomb of Herod.
In the lower square portion, note the engaged square pilasters (like at the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron and the supporting wall of the Temple Mount) and the triglyphs and metopes on the upper molding. Above that is a columned tholos with Ionic capitals. This is topped by a "hat" type roof, with acroteria, similar to the top of Absalom's Monument in the Kidron Valley.
