View looking north along the seashore from the Promontory Palace. On the right (east) side of the image is the 950 ft. [290 m.] long Circus/Hippodrome/Amphitheater that was built by Herod the Great (37–4 B.C.).
In the distance the southern breakwater of the harbor of Caesarea Maritima is visible.
