View looking south and down onto the excavation (October 2022) of a Roman Bathhouse that is located between the podium (on the left, where the modern museum is located on the east) and the nearby harbor (on the right, the green-grass area to the west).
It was part of the port facilities that serviced the ships and the seafarers. Although not well preserved, it had the typical hot, medium, and cold rooms, along with a latrine, etc.
Six bathhouses have been found in the excavations of Caesarea.
