View looking east at the site of station X that commemorates Jesus being stripped of his Garments. The entrance to this chapel is the staircase just to the right before entering the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Note the painting of the women weeping as they view the cross.
During the Crusader period, the door on the left—barely visible—was the entrance to Calvary. It has been blocked since the twelfth century.
