View of the pediment to the Tomb of Grapes. The pediment is designed in a way to imitate the dwellings of the persons who were buried here.
The door posts are clearly visible. On the lintel notice the small rectangles - the dentils. On each side are acroteria and one — a palmetto floral pattern — is located on the peak of the pediment. Within the triangular pediment note the details of the vines: the grape clusters, the leaves, and the tendrils.
The details are better viewed in one of the "download" modes and are well–worth a look.
