View of fine "dinner ware" that was discovered in Nahum Avigad's excavations in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem.
These pieces are made of fine clay, richly decorated—but no human figures, and are well–fired! The elite of Jerusalem would use such fine pottery.
This display is in the Israel Museum.
