View looking south over most of the area excavated and reconstructed by Eilat Mazar.
In the lower left of the picture are three copies of the twelve storage jars found in the Royal Structure. In the left (east) side of the image is a massive wall from the Byzantine Period.
In the distance the man is standing just beyond one of the rooms of the south side of the Gate House. The room and the door on the right side of the image are from a later period.
