View looking south through the inside of the Middle Bronze Channel. The floor has been paved recently and provided with modern “diode lights!”
Important: note in the lower right portion of the image—before the first floor light—a slight indentation in the right (west) wall of the channel. This is the opening that leads to Tunnel III that leads the pool from which residents of Jerusalem drew water. Click Here to view Tunnel III.
In this area the channel is at least 10 ft. [3.0 m.] high.
