View looking north down (from Mount Carmel) on the western end of the Jezreel Valley where the Kishon River (flows from right [east] to left [west] passes through a 0.5 mi. pass on its way toward the Mediterranean Sea via the city of Haifa.
The mound in the lower center of the image is that of T. el–Qassis/T. Qashish that is frequently identified with biblical Helkath—a Levitical city (Josh 21:31) that was on the southern boundary of the tribe of Asher.
