A modern model of the "Galilee Boat." Note the single sail, the rigging, and the two sets of oars. The bow of the boat is in the foreground – near the viewer. Note also the two interior decks – fore and aft. A boat of this size had a crew of five and could carry about 15 additional persons.
This model is in the Museum in the Yigal Allon Center.
