An isometric reconstruction of the 4th–6th century A.D. synagogue at Chorazin.
Note that in the reconstruction there is no second floor of the synagogue and that a clerestory rises above the central nave of the building. Note too the stairs that lead up to the uncovered porch on the south side of the synagogue.
From a sign displayed on the grounds of the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
