View looking west into the Judahite Temple area at Arad. Like the Tabernacle and the Jerusalem Temple, it is composed of three major parts.
In the lower left of the image the doorway, in the shade, leads into the courtyard where the sacrificial altar is located.
Just left of the center of the image, the doorway leads into a rectangular room that might be thought of as "the holy place"—although its orientation does not match the orientation of that space in the Tabernacle or Temple.
